We’re SALVO, a neighborhood bakehouse with two locations in the heart of Amsterdam.

We started SALVO because we wanted to create more than a place to pick up pastries and coffee. We’re here for your daily order and the chat with your favorite staff member. We’re here for your celebrations, your cravings and a break in your day to pause and enjoy.

That feeling of community reminds us of home. In Naples, neighborhood life happens around food and coffee. Like the tradition of the caffè sospeso; ordering an extra coffee for the next person who needs one. A small gesture with a great impact on a stranger’s day.

That sense of generosity and togetherness is part of what we want SALVO to be.

After many early mornings, queues, experiments, specials and collaborations, the idea is still simple: to provide a space and delicious treats worth slowing down for.
